Hi, I’m Jeff Schuman.
For nearly 20 years, I worked as a Territory Sales Manager for Amana Refrigeration in the heating and cooling division, covering the Denver, Colorado market.
When I started, the territory brought in about $500,000 a year. By the time I hung up my briefcase, it was doing over $3.6 million annually.
I didn’t just sell air conditioners and furnaces. I built relationships, solved problems, and learned the art of helping people make confident decisions.
The Online Journey Begins
In 2002, I took that same energy online and launched Team Schuman, a website dedicated to helping people make money from home.
Back then, the internet was the Wild West — no social media, no YouTube, and barely any blogs.
But I saw potential.
Within a few years, Team Schuman ranked on over 5,100 Google pages, pulling in traffic for phrases like “make money online,” “make money at home,” “article writer,” and “blog writer.”
My son joined me, and together we started an article writing company that produced more than 35,000 articles — mostly for other affiliate marketers building their own online businesses.
We didn’t just write articles.
We helped people find their voice and build income from it.
The Crash That Changed Everything
Then came Google’s Panda and Penguin updates in 2012.
Overnight, thousands of affiliate sites — including mine — lost rankings, traffic, and income.
It was like someone pulled the plug on the entire industry.
I went from managing an online empire to managing disappointment.
But I didn’t quit.
I kept writing part-time, kept learning, and watched as the internet evolved.
And now, more than a decade later, I’m back — older, wiser, and ready to help a new generation of retirees do what I love most: earn money creatively and confidently.
